Conventional Leader Material
The final connection between main line and lure.
Leader material choice affects visibility, abrasion resistance, knot strength, and bite protection. Choose the right material and size for the water, cover, and species in front of you.
Application Guide
Use these common setups as a starting point, then adjust leader material based on water clarity, cover, target species, and the amount of abrasion in front of you. For more setup help, view the Line & Leader Setup Guide.
