From the casting instructor good rod

This rod is a great ride for the price; I bought it for my wife and teaching her how to fly cast. I later use the ride for practice so I would know what type of action it has. I bought the 5/6 rod I have been practicing the and line and I have spent quite a few hours experimenting with the equipment and I think it is great for any beginner or perhaps even as backup equipment. I have been fly fishing for almost 48 years and I am a master instructor with the international Federation. It was also on the Loomis Pro staff— does this little $60 rod favorably compare with G Loomis $860 fly rods? No, but it’s still a good little rod. John

pretty good

most people think that a good fly rod is 500 plus. But this is a good outfit for a good price. I bought it for throwing streamers, and it does it fine. The reel was a little cheap so I got a Remington crosswater and it cast fine. the FairPlay forceps are worth it to
